In a bizarre partnership that defies traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the formal statement, "A strange encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden practices and terrifying changes resonate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden sect.
The questline focuses on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Additional Material
Players who finish the quest will receive an exclusive katana together with numerous objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Update
